We had a lovely Christmas brunch, here at the Lee house. I made baked Monte Christo and Monkey Bread with fresh fruit. The Monte Christo recipe came from a scrapbooking friend of mine. The kids really like it, so I think it might become a Christmas tradition.
Our tradition is to open presents on Christmas morning. The kids used their presents last Tuesday when we hit the slopes at the local mountains, so there wasn't much to open up under the tree, but we carried on the tradition anyway. It was a very quiet and peaceful Christmas. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sports
I wouldn't really call myself a sports photographer, but with all the sports my kids play I have had the opportunity to dabble in photographing soccer, softball, swimming, volleyball and now, basketball. I suppose it's good practice. They sure move around a lot though, and I'm not sure if I like the gym lighting. I prefer natural light, but I'm glad for them they get to play in the gym.

Henry woke up and looked out the window and said, "Mom, it's snowing!" "No, it's not" I said. "Yes, it is" he insisted, and it was true. We woke up in Idylwild and it was a white Thanksgiving. Were we prepared? No. Not after running the 5K Turkey Trot in Dana Point in 80 degree weather the day before.
